PROFESSOR ANTONIO MOTA
Professor Mota has practiced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 20 years and is currently a first degree black belt under 8 x World Champion and good friend Andre Galvao.
Born and bred in Brazil, Antonio has lived and breathed Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Antonio is a passionate and dedicated Professor and is personally invested in his students’ progress and enjoyment of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Antonio has competed at countless Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments, won belts in the MMA cage and coached fighters including Bec Rawlings. But regardless of whether a student is looking to become a successful competitor, or simply take up a new hobby Antonio invests his time into bringing the best out of every student who walks through the Atos Brisbane doors.
Antonio loves working with children and has the special ability to be able to communicate and teach the younger students of Atos Brisbane in a way that is enjoyable and challenging.
Antonio is in regular contact with Professor Andre Galvao, Professora Angelica Galvao, Professor Jonathan “JT” Torres, Josh Hinger and Keenan Cornelius at Atos Jiu Jitsu Head Quarters in San Diego. The students of Atos Brisbane are lucky enough to have direct access to world class Jiu Jitsu.
